05 Jan 2005, Afghanistan — United States Marines of Company I, Third Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, patrol through one of the many graveyards that mark the hills of the Korangal Valley, Afghanistan, a grim reminder of the violence in the “Valley of Islam” has spawned on January 5, 2005.
