Marines with India Company, 3/3 watch an Iraqi villager, a Marine from 81’s Platoon, Weapons Company, fas he sits near their vehicle during a training evolution Oct. 12 at Marine Corps Training Area Bellows. The villagers posed no threat to the Marines whose objective was to make communication with the village leader and gain information about possible weapons caches, insurgents and upcoming attacks. The village scenerio was one of several training missions the Marines participated in over the course of one day in order to prepare them for their upcoming deployment to Iraq.
