“A Kilo Company platoon received RPG and small arms fire resulting in no injuries at their patrol base near the village of Waza, Jardran District, Paktia Province…  Kilo Company recovered two separate weapons cache consisting of (3) RPGs, (3) RPKs, (4) AK-47, (4) 303 British Rifle, (1) 12 gauge rifle, (1) RPG casing, (1) 105 casing, (2323) 7.62mm x 39 rounds, (348) 7.62mm x 54 rounds, (252) 303 British rifle rounds, (91) 30 caliber rounds, (64) 7. 62mm x 54 link rounds, (62) 7. 62mm x 39 armor piercing rounds, (38) 50 caliber rounds, (29) 7. 62mm x 39 red-tipped rounds, (19) 5. 54 x 39 rounds, (3) grenades and (2) 7.62mm x 25 rounds in the village of Waza, Jardran District, Paktia Province.” — Source: 3/3 Command Chronology for the Period 01 January to 30 June 2005
