Biography
Ray Anthony Spencer II
Raymond A. Spencer was born in California on February 4, 1989 in California. He graduated Burroughs High School in Ridgecrest, CA in 2006. He enlisted into the Marine Corps at age 17 and attended recruit training at San Diego immediately following his graduation. He reported to Marine Corps Base Hawaii in January 2007 and was assigned to Kilo Company, 3rd Battalion 3rd Marine Regiment, and deployed to Iraq as part of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM in August 2007, returning in February 2008. He deployed again to Operation IRAQI FREEDOM in April 2009, and died at Camp Ramadi on April 16, 2009.
