Robert Bauer

U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Robert Bauer, an assault man armed with a Colt 5.56mm M16A2 Assault Rifle and assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, patrols the base to provide interior security. Frequent patrols take place in four-hour shifts at Jalalabad, Afghanistan, on Dec. 22, 2004.
